Next2 is a self-funded start-up with operations in the United States, Kenya and Nigeria. The principals of Next2 are:

Emeka Okoye, co-founder, has over 17 years of progressive experience in Web, Enterprise & Mobile Software development and Project Management including management, strategic technical analysis, architecture design, planning and product development using object-oriented approach, agile methodology with best of breed technologies.

Mr. Okoye was;

  • Named among the Techloy’s Best People, Brand & Events of 2010 by a top Nigerian technology blog, Techloy (loyokezie.com) (2011)
  • Second Best Mobile Application with Ozii mobile shopping App at the Mobile Web West Africa Expo (2011)
  • Built the first Mobile App for Election reporting and violence monitoring in Nigeria & Liberia (2011).
  • Mobile Product Manager with The Kuyu Project (thekuyuproject.org) mobile learning initiative startup, StorySpaces (storyspaces.org).

Brian Puckett, co-founder, is a serial entrepreneur with over 25 years experience in successful consumer facing web applications and sports marketing.  Prior to Next 2, Mr. Puckett was co-founder and CEO of Information Projects Group, Inc of Reston, Virginia co-developers with BPS Software of PowerTools for AOL, an award winning, add-on software for AOL.  PowerTools and its sister products PowerAIM and PowerWatch had hundreds of thousands of satisfied customers and was used by consumers, law enforcement and AOL partners for over ten years.  Mr. Puckett was also co-founder and CEO of Flight Brothers which pioneered the use of indoor, radio-controlled, advertising airships and custom shapes by professional sports teams — worldwide.  Mr. Puckett resides in Round Hill, Virginia with his wife and three daughters.  He can be reached on twitter @hungrygarden or by email help <at> hungrygarden <dot> com.
